Services

NTAO’s services are offered through the following three initiatives which aim to address some of the challenges experienced by teachers today:   Teacher’s Concierge; 21st Century Teaching; and, Engage in Education.

Teacher's Concierge Initiative

The Teacher’s Concierge provides teachers in underserved public elementary schools with high quality professional assistance through a mobile work center.  Our goal is to provide school teachers with a level of assistance that allows them to fully meet the needs of their students.  We take time to understand and analyze each teacher's needs an address them through the Teacher’s Concierge Mobile WorkCenter.

Our services alleviate the need for them to spend valuable time before, during and after school completing routine tasks.  Teachers can drop off their work (e.g., copy jobs, class project ideas, research topics, etc.), with an NTAO staff member, schedule a pick up time and we take it from there.  Teacher Concierge services include:
  • Making copies, cut and/or laminate, and assemble materials
  • Develop and prepare customized teaching materials to be used inside or outside of the classroom (e.g. worksheets, homework assignments, word-search puzzles, educational games, reading comprehension questions, word problems for math practice, etc.)
  • Provide disadvantaged students with class project assistance
  • Assist teachers with topic research and development
  • Design and organize bulletin boards
  • Cloud storage for digitally archiving of worksheets and homework assignments
  • Interpret for Spanish-speaking parents with limited English skills when necessary

21st Century Technology Experience Initiative

The 21st Century Teaching initiative provides underserved public elementary schools with an introduction into the wide-ranging uses of iPads, tablet computers and e-readers in the classroom.  Our goal is to engage students and enhance learning through the strategic use of the latest technology in the classroom.

Engage in Education Initiative

Through the Engage in Education initiative, NTAO interacts directly with parents to encourage them to be actively engaged in their child’s projects, activities and learning.  Our goal is to promote greater parental involvement in underserved public schools and the education of their children.
